Oblong Campground

We offer over 30 camp sites with several pull thru sites. We have electric (20 AMP and 30 AMP Services) and water hook-ups.

We have a dump station on the grounds for your convenience.

Camping is allowed year-round; however, the Shower House is closed October 31 to April 15 each year.

Nightly rates are $15 per night, and we use the honor system for paying.
You can drop your payment in the drop slot at the Shower House.

Campground Rules

No reservations are taken. Upon arrival, please choose your own site.
Camping fee is $15.00 per night. All campsites will be paid for at the time of arrival. A drop box for your payment is located at the Shower House. Please pay by personal check or put your payment in an envelope and write your name, address and license number of your vehicle on the envelope. A maximum stay of 30 days is allowed. Extenuating circumstances will be considered by the Park Committee.
At least (1) person at the campsite must be 18 years or older.
We allow only one (1) camping unit and six people per site. Additional charges will occur for more than two adults per site. Only one passenger vehicle is allowed per site. If you have concerns with this guideline, please contact the Public Works office.
Quiet Time is 10 pm to 7am. Parents and visitors are responsible for the conduct of their children while on the premises. Children must be at their own campsite during quiet hours.
An adult must accompany small children when using the restrooms or shower house.
All campsites must be kept neat and clean.
All greywater and septic waste must be collected and disposed of at the dump station.
The use of alcohol is not permitted in the campground or park area.
Use existing campfire rings only. Do not move fire rings. Do not burn or put trash in fire rings.
It is preferred that picnic tables not be moved to other sites. This insures that each campsite will have a table.
Please place all garbage in the trash dumpster located in the campground.
Do not damage trees in any way. No nails or wires.
Do not run generators in the campground.
All pets must be kept on a leash. You are expected to pick up anything that your pet leaves behind. Aggressive pets are not welcome.
RV/vehicle washing is not permitted in the campground.
No dirt bikes, ATV’s, or mini-bikes ridden in the campground.
We allow privately owned golf carts in the Park and campground. All drivers must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. All carts must be kept on the drives and streets. The owner of the cart is financially responsible for any damage caused by their cart to the campground property, the park or any other camper’s property on the grounds.
Our campground is not responsible for accidents resulting in injury to guests and/or damages to their property, or for the loss of valuables of any kind.
The Village of Oblong and the Crawford County Fair Association reserves the right to terminate a camper’s stay and evict without prior notice, anyone who fails to follow the above rules or violates any local, state or federal laws, or anyone who is creating a disturbance of any kind. No rental fees will be refunded in the case of an eviction is required. Absolutely no “Public Camping” that is declared a nuisance by Village ordinance # 2024-0-652.
