The Village of Oblong is offering for sale a 2000 model year Stahl Utility Bed.
The bed is in average used condition. All doors are in good working condition and the bed bottom is solid. This bed can be viewed at the Public Works Yard on East Kentucky Street in Oblong, anytime. Call 592-3122 for more information.
Sealed bids will be accepted in the Oblong Public Works office at 202 S. Range St. until 1:00PM on May 7.
Bids will be opened at the regular Village board meeting on May 7 at 5:30PM. Bids must be signed, sealed and clearly marked “UTILITY BED BID”.
Any person submitting a bid prior to the deadline may attend the bid opening and at that time the Village shall accept any further verbal bids from any person that had submitted a prior sealed bid until the sale is made to the highest bidder (auctioned off). Possession of the bed will only be given with complete payment to the Village Clerk. Cash, cashier’s check or money order only, personal checks will not be accepted. The Village of Oblong reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any technicalities.
